No two colors are more synonymous to New Balance than grey and navy. Throughout the brand’s history, the two hues have likely appeared on more suede sneakers than all the other colors of the rainbow combined. Now New Balance’s go-to shades combine into one clean colorway of the New Balance 998 Oulet for this latest release of the beloved silhouette. Bound to be approved of by any New Balance aficionado, the appealing colorway also features some white thrown into the mix to complete the look.
With so many amazing colorways already produced of the New Balance 998 Discount, it’s hard to believe New Balance just came up with one more. But that they did, with this impressive new “Emerald” colorway to freshen up your winter. The clean look for the classic runner that’s become the favorite silhouette for many retro NB fans features an emerald green suede upper with minty mesh paneling, white accents, and a touch of cream on the TPU heel counter. Of course, it’s also built with the Made in USA quality you expect from the 998.
Premier Skate is teaming up with the New Balance 998 Online Store for an upcoming collaboration that flexes the skate boutique’s muscles for premium aesthetics. The NB 998 has been a frequent feature in the brand’s ongoing ‘Connoisseur Collection’ as the overall structure lends itself to luxurious materials like suede and leather rather flawlessly. Keeping that in mind, Premier outfits the upper in a black pigskin suede while the toebox stands out in a contrasting tan to match the lining in an offering that we can’t wait to get our hands on. In the meantime, all we can offer up are these teaser images complete with a mysterious key hangtag and a view of the tongue.
If you’ve noticed over the last year or so, New Balance collaborations have become far less frequent. Only choice individuals and shops get to color up these American-made runners, but J.Crew seems to be immune to the brand’s selective process because yet another collaboration has hit stores. This New Balance 998 Suede Purchase is dubbed “Royalty”, and it features a very J.Crew-esque mix of green and navy as well as a sudden pop of neon on the upper.

Designed by DJ Clark Kent, who is no doubt the biggest sneaker aficionado of all DJ’s, the New Balance 998 Trainers Wholesale is presented in a clean black and yellow colorway inspired by the golden logo of the Global Spin Awards. Looking for a special piece to commemorate the event, the Global Spin Awards team turned to Clark Kent to lead the collaborative shoe effort, which New Balance stepped in to offer their Made in USA 998 in a special edition colorway “By the DJ, For the DJ’s”.
