Cant say anything in that flow I didnt anticipate. They dont understand. Whole gaming industry doesnt tbh. I dont believe mtx can last in its current form as authorities will step in to OSRS gold regulate it as they put themselves into this position.Basically the gist I got from this stream. Change current mtx into some thing thats ganna be longterm legal. (That might be ok and even favorable - but governments are pushing this.) Adding more mtx. (Because its insecure not to - But not quite reassuring they wont maintain both.) That they are"not as bad as the others".. ok.
Idk - Alot of PR bs imo. This is a gambling industry problem. I hate to say it - But they wont stop and it requires things to intervene and regulate them. Ganna be enormous damage to the morale and community. Folks have left, its becoming vacant, jmods are leaving overly - taking their expertise away. These types of things have already caused huge damage. Mouth and word wont work. Promotion is **** anyway. Mtx will be unattractive to fresh runescape players. Those who have quit certainly wont be sure to return. Entire stream just fell flat. I dont think'activities' are the activities that are expected to create things healthy again. Its'activities' for legal reasons so they can continue. I prefer being told that upfront. Thats essentially what this stream did. Its better than no communication. Didnt really learn something. Very very noticeable shauny was not. He's a huge loss to us and them.
This makes no sense at all, mythic is"just kill bosses" and runescape participant ability. The specific like Telos. It's possible to fund equipment for with bonds or wow tokens. Perhaps you need to run heroic first to acquire sufficient gear but you also have to conduct low enrage Telos to achieve high enrage.The difference is your outlook on what's important in runescape. If you're just looking to PvM at RS3, it"does not affect you" either outside gold. Also let's not pretend that having a disgusting amount of gold to buy BoEs on expansions doesn't bring about world kills in WoW.
Furthermore RS updates have shifted runescape substantially over the years as well, you can't tell me"vanilla" RS2 and RS3 are close to the same game. RS upgrades are free and yes the number has dwindled lately that is a debate for other threads no matter how the expansion argument does not have any real relevance.I hope we both agree that cash shops generally and having the ability to buy currency is not how to make money on runescape 2020 a fantastic feature. That apart you can't compare the top 0.1% of runescape players using gold to purchase very minimal updates, (devalued by titanforging and split runs) for the literal world first raid to the average joe using 1.8k total and too much cash to spare purchasing literal bis gear in most slots to blast through their aberrant spectre task, skipping all manner of equipment development.
