	Pensiri Thai Silk Detail : Weaving of Lamphun brocade silk has been one of heritages of the Lanna Kingdom since 16th century, especially while Princess Dara Rasmi from Chiangmai brought knowledge of weaving brocade silk from the center area of Thailand to the north. Since then, the techniques of weaving brocade silk in the north had been developed and well known in the entourage of the royal court, and they were gradually passed from the palace to the skilled local weavers, and also Pensiri Thai Silk maintained this art from Lamphun court to family skills passed three generations. Pensiri Thai Silk creates numerous style of brocade silk such as Hip Wrapped, Shawl, Shoulder cloth, which is used in traditional Thai costumes due to the beauty and finesse of the textiles.
