Parichat Thai Silk
Detail : As Baan Puang, Amphoe Tung Hua Chang, is a small village, away from civilization, it is quite perfectly for weaving. The villagers of this small village in the area have continuously done this culture for very long time. So weaving is one of the important life styles that religious or races are not limited. There are hilltribes and domestic people together with Parichat Thai Silk preserve the beautiful Yok Dok Silk in this area of Thailand.

  Year  2008  Parichat Thai Silk participated in the project of Geographical Indications in Thai Silk Villages for developing Lamphun Yok Dok Thai Silk, which has been registered already.
Year  2008  Parichat Thai Silk was rewarded "Thai Silk Peacock" from Queen Sirikit Sericulture Center, Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives.
Year  2006  Parichat Thai Silk participated in the evaluation of OTOP products and got 4 stars on nationwide level then the Yok Dok Silk was exhibited and sold at Impact Arena Muangthongtani, Nontaburi.
Year  2005  Parichat Thai Silk participated in the evaluation of OTOP products and got 4 stars on nationwide level then the Yok Dok Silk was exhibited and sold at Impact Arena Muangthongtani, Nontaburi.
Year  2004  Parichat Thai Silk participated in the evaluation of OTOP products and got 4 stars on nationwide level then the Yok Dok Silk was exhibited and sold at Impact Arena Muangthongtani, Nontaburi.
Year  2002  Yok Dok Thai Silk was participated in the World Silk Competition at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center and won the first prize.
Year  2002  Parichat Thai Silk was a chairman of OTOP Community of Lamphun and took the products of OTOP to the exhibition at the Airport Plaza, Chiangmai
Year  2001  Parichat Thai Silk was a chairman of OTOP Community of Lamphun and took the products of OTOP to the exhibition at the Airport Plaza, Chiangmai
Year  1998  Parichat Thai Silk was established with only one manual loom and weaver. There are about 100 weavers now.
